Penn State and the Pennsylvania Turfgrass Council would like to invite you to attend the 2013 Penn State Golf Turf Conference located on the University Park Campus in the Nittany Lion Inn.

The Golf Turf Conference provides practical information on golf course management to practitioners, industry reps, and students. The event will include a pre-conference seminar, a job fair, the Turf Club Luncheon, and multiple educational sessions on a wide variety of topics, including broadleaf weed control, new pests and control options, and herbicide resistant annual bluegrass. The conference will also feature a special round table discussion on preparing for the majors, which will be hosted by Mr. Matt Shaffer, of Merion Golf Club, and Mr. Jeff Corcoran, of Oak Hill Country Club. The 2013 program will feature some of the best and brightest in the industry including USGA agronomists, university faculty, golf course superintendents, industry representatives, graduate students and others. Speakers will include Penn State faculty and graduate students and respected experts from Cornell, Auburn, and Purdue Universities. Pennsylvania pesticide credits and GCSAA education points will also be offered.
