Commenting on his new role, John Bambury said: “Ballybunion Golf Club is recognised the world over as a must-visit experience and I’m looking forward to overseeing both courses and enhancing the already exceptional Old and Cashen layouts. I have enjoyed working for the Trump organisation immensely for over three years and am looking forward to a new chapter with the team at Ballybunion, which is a truly epic golf destination.”

Richard Wood, Director of Colt Mackenzie McNair (CMM), said: “John is one of the best young Course Managers in the business and his role as a key member of golf course leadership team at Trump International, and his wider knowledge of working in Ireland, made him the standout candidate for this opportunity.”
