Thank you to Mark Kuhns and Jason Woodring for their contributions to the A.J. Turgeon Turgrass Endowment. These funds help support the goals of the turfgrass project at Penn State, primarily in the area of turfgrass research. The Endowment is now at $550,000. Proceeds are generated annually and dispersed as directed by the faculty at Penn State. This year the proceeds were used to purchase a Ventrac-4500Z, an integral tool used to maintain research plots at the Valentine Research Center.
