As many of you may have been aware of (and more likely most of you not so aware of), the Golf Course Turfgrass Management Program had been slowly building it’s alumni map on google. The process was taking a LONG time since each entry had to be loaded manually.  We were just about through the letter “D” in the alphabet when one of our alumni (Ron Hall, class of ’91) informed us of Google Fusion. This application within Google allowed us to upload our alumni database as an excel file and pull that information into a map form in Google Maps.

So behold the new alumni map…pretty impressive isn’t it? Well, please make sure to check your information and let us know if you are listed wrong or not listed at all and we will make sure to update your information.  Send all alumni updates for the 2-year program to turfgrass@psu.edu.
