Penn State student Ryan Hillert, of Brooklyn, NY,  is currently interning with the New York Mets at Citi Field in New York City. During his internship, Ryan will be working on monitoring and adjusting infield skinned areas moisture contents. His internship also entails all the duties of a regular grounds crew member with the Citi Field Grounds Crew. Ryan is enjoying his internship; “I love going to work every day,” he says, “the guys on the crew are great, the field is beautiful, and I’ve learned so much already. It’s not just baseball that I’m learning about”.
