The Penn State Turf Program would like to congratulate Chris Marra (Junior, Turfgrass Science) who received one of the GPGCSA scholarships at the organization’s November meeting. Chris is from the Pittsburgh area and has worked at Lindenwood Golf Club, The Valentine Turfgrass Research Center, and Oakmont Country Club.  His current plans include securing an internship at a top-ranked golf course this summer, and completing his B.S. degree next year.
