Penn State and the Pennsylvania Turfgrass Council are pleased to announce that the annual Penn State Golf Turf Conference will be held from November 12th through the 14th in the Nittany Lion Inn in State College, PA. The event will include a pre-conference seminar, a job fair, the Turf Club Luncheon, and multiple educational sessions on a wide variety of topics, including broadleaf weed control, new pests and control options, and herbicide resistant annual bluegrass. The conference will also feature a special round table discussion on preparing for the majors, which will be hosted by Mr. Matt Shaffer, of Merion Golf Club, and Mr. Jeff Corcoran, of Oak Hill Country Club. Speakers will include Penn State faculty and graduate students and respected experts from Cornell, Auburn, and Purdue Universities. Pennsylvania pesticide credits and GCSAA education points will also be offered. Hope to see you there!
