This years Golf Turf Conference will be held between November 13th and 15th in the beautiful Nittany Lion Inn at Penn State University, University Park, PA 16802.

The conference will open early this year with a Pre-Conference seminar on Tuesday morning. Regular registration will begin at 10:00 AM. The afternoon session will feature The Year in Review: A Tribute to Stanley Zontek, a job fair, and a break sponsored by BASF, as well as talks by Dr. Erik Ervin of Virginia Tech University, Mr. Curtis Tyrell, CGCS, of Medinah Country Club. Wednesday will kick off with the morning session, featuring a talk by Dr. Peter Dernoeden, of the University of Maryland, and the famed Turf Club Luncheon, sponsored by Bayer Environmental Science. The afternoon session will the PTC Update and presentation of the Distinguished Service Award by Mr. Matt Shaffer as well as the keynote address, delivered by Mr. Rhett Evans, CEO, GCSAA. Thursday will feature four talks, including a presentation on Shade Management by Dr. Karl Danneberger. The conference will conclude at 11 AM.
